Work Process

Design is a process.

If you have never hired a designer before, here is what you need to know:

Every project is different, but in many ways, they begin the same. This is how I work:

1. Job: What are your goals? Who are you trying to reach? What does your project need to express, and to whom? in order to succeed.

2. Research: Who are its competitors and what do they look like? How can we differentiate and stand apart from them? What other elements come into play? What do you envision? What is your ideal vision for your job?

3. Sketches: With the information gathered in the first two steps

Design is based on research, thought and visually expressing that

From posters to products, logos to illustrations, Julie Teninbaum is able to take your idea from concept to completion.

Costs vary with the scope and timeframe of each project. If you would like to discuss your project please contact:

Thank you for the music:

If you click on the little music button on the bottom of this page, you can listen to "Jumbo Shrimp Manifesto," performed by the Jerry Mentalman Experience, an East Coast musical collective. Vocals by the talented Janna Rhodes.

The lyrics are the words from my graduate school thesis. How awesome is that?
